The 3rd Annual Virginia Blues and Jazz Festival will be held at Garth Newel Music Center in Hot Springs, Virginia on June 13th, 14th and 15th. Bands include: Taj Mahal & the Trio, Terell Stafford, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Eric Lindell, Tab Benoit, Bert Carlson & Danny Nicely. This is a great event that has grown into a fully packed Blues and Jazz weekend. If you have never been, you are really missing out!!!!
On Saturday, June 21, 2008 the Bath County Chamber of Commerce will hold its 5th Annual Bath County Sprint Triathlon known as “Moomaw Madness”. Featuring a 750 meter open water swim, 20K bike loop on closed roads and a 5K run, this spectacular event is a definite “must” for all outdoor enthusiasts. Nestled in the western hills of the state, Bath County is one of the hidden gems of the Virginia Triathlon Series.
