Hi, we haven’t been to Bath County yet, but we are planning to camp there this summer. I have pored over various visitor websites, and cannot determine whether just anyone can use the Jefferson Pools, or must one be a guest of the Homestead to do that? Either way, we are looking forward to our trip.

    Hi Amanda,

The Jefferson Pools are open to anyone to use. They are owned and operated by The Homestead, but are public accessible. Their hours of operation change by season, but this summer they will be open seven days a week, 10am – 6pm and the cost is $17pp for an hour soak. The water temperature varies between 96 and 98 degrees and makes you feel wonderful. It is definitely an experience that should not be missed. We look foward to your visit!

Hello Bath County Citizens: My mother was born in Hot Springs Virginia in 1928 and we will celebrate her 80th birthday next month. Also, her grandparents lived in Bacova. As birthday party favors, I was trying to think of a little trinket or souvenir that is representative of the area. Any suggestions? I would need about 70 items that I could purchase fairly quickly.

Hi- I have stayed many times in the lovely
“TreeHouse, Serenity and Quiet Waters villas of “Meadow Villas at Warm Springs”….the owners are great and so generous with their rentals.
The area is just gorgeous all times of the year and it is a peaceful getaway.
I love the hiking and quiet beauty and the antique shops and just looking
at the mountains. It has been a great personal retreat for several years.

For a wonderful fall foliage stay I recommend October, but get in early as it fills up fast all over the area…
